The number of British military personnel killed on operations in Afghanistan since 2001 stands at 285.
Sadly the number is likely to increase.

Of all those killed, 34 have died from accidents, illness, or non-combat injuries. Others have yet to be assigned a cause of death. Details of fatalities are in the table below. The entries are arranged by date, with the most recent at the top.
